Minimum Charge: $750.00 – Covering up to 1,000 Sq. Ft. on a single property using our “American Starter” mixture with a location based within 60 miles from our starting location of South Point, OH.

***We can always schedule smaller minimum jobs with larger jobs to help accommodate your hydroseed needs based on our schedule and travel arrangements.

Travel Fees: If you are located within 60 miles from South Point, OH there is no fee. If you are located further than 60 miles add $4.00 a mile for every mile over 60 miles to cover our “loaded weight” costs as we weigh over 20,000 pounds.

Estimates: To get an estimate on how much it will cost for American Prime Hydroseed to apply hydroseed to your prepared soil you will need to figure out approximately how many square feet will need to be sprayed. A helpful tool you can use is Google Earth, to see your property and make measurements. No need to worry if you over or underestimate, we will confirm all measurements at time of application either by using a measuring wheel or volume conversion. Please call if you would like us to help you with the measurement or as always, we will conduct an onsite visit to verify.

Buyer Beware: It is important to realize that all hydroseed is not the same. You may find that prices will vary if you are shopping around for Hydroseed. Remember cheap hydroseed is usually cheap for a reason. As the saying goes “You get what you pay for”. The price will increase based on the quality of seed and additional products in the mixture. The cheapest hydroseed companies use basic seed, basic mulch, dye, and almost no other ingredients. One of the more important products in the mix that will influence the cost and results is the type of hydro-mulch used. Paper mulch is economical, but it easily erodes and degrades quickly with the rain. Thermally refined wood much provides an excellent growing medium, provides longer protection and will not erode like paper mulch. American Prime Hydroseed uses the highest quality seeds and additives to give you the best lawn possible.

American Prime Hydroseed does not buy grass seed off the shelf. We carefully select our products based on years of hydroseeding research from the top hydroseeding vendors.

Packages to fit your budget: As you will see, we offer 2 enhanced mixes and a starter mix, which can be customized. Each mix contains the same Premium Quality Grass Seed, Mulch and Fertilizer. We always recommend our best-selling “American Prime” mix which includes our most enhanced additives for faster, healthier establishment and best results. 

American Starter Mix: This is our most affordable starter hydroseed mix which contains the necessary ingredients to produce better results than any other way of seeding. This package can be used for erosion control, excavation damage repairs, and even starting a new lawn. Prices typically start around $0.15 per sqft.

American Standard Mix: American Standard Mix: This is our standard hydroseed mix which contains the necessary additives that will produce nutrient rich results far better than any other way of seeding and includes all the necessary ingredients to give you a quick, green, new lawn. Prices typically start around $0.18 per sqft.

American Prime Mix: This is our popular prime hydroseed mix which contains the necessary additives and our special blend of additives that will produce superior results designed to penetrate, absorb moisture, grow, survive, and resist the natural elements. Prices typically start around $0.20 per sqft.

Lawn Renovations & New Lawn Construction: The price list shows the cost of hydroseed applied per square foot. This is the cost for American Prime Hydroseed to apply hydroseed to your already prepared soil.

New lawn construction and renovation may need the removal of an old lawn or leveling out a roughly graded area removing rocks, sticks, and other debris to get it golf-course perfect. Equipment, manpower and the removal of material will add to the overall cost. Other factors to consider is accessibility for equipment, underground and above ground obstacles and time needed for hand work vs equipment work. For new lawn construction the addition of 4-6” of topsoil may be required and for lawn renovations typically only 1-2” of new topsoil will be needed. Topsoil may be costly, but it is the essential foundation of a turf quality lawn. Just things to consider when your dreaming of that perfect lawn as it can be back breaking and not as easy sounding as just “spraying” the hydroseeder equipment.

Payment: We accept: Cash, Checks, Credit Cards (+3.5%). Cancellations after 5 business days of acceptance will be billed a $150.00 cancellation charge.

Payment Terms: The total amount is immediately due upon completion of work unless otherwise specified. A grace period of (10) Ten calendar days will apply starting on the date in which work is completed. A late fee of $35.00 will be billed on all payments after the grace period. Interest of 2% per month (20% per annum) will be charged on the entire past due balance after 30 days. If collection and mechanic’s lien procedures are necessary, the client will pay all costs of collecting the company incurs, including all reasonable attorney’s fees and the company’s office hours billed at $55 per hour. All returned or cancelled checks are subject to a $50.00 service charge plus any bank charges plus any lates fees listed above will apply.

Limited Guarantee: American Prime Hydroseed LLC. guarantees to our customers that we use the highest quality materials available for the hydroseeding process. Certified grass seed is used in a mix of water, high phosphorus liquid fertilizer, mulch, tackifier, and other additives within the packages you select. The hydroseed slurry is applied evenly to your prepared soil using the most advanced hydroseeding equipment at the appropriate application rates. If germination does not occur within 30 days of application (weather permitting and erosion controls in place) and seeds are proven to be nonviable we will re-seed one time or provide new seed at no charge under the following conditions: Potential problems must be brought to our attention within 30 days of application and not beyond 30 days. American Prime Hydroseed LLC is not responsible for owner-controlled soil conditions, weed competition or eradication, acts of god, nature, vandalism, diseases, or anything beyond our control. This includes spotty germination due to soil compaction, torrential rains, drought, or other weather-related conditions. This guarantee will not be invalid for late-season dormant seeding when soil temperatures drop below 50°F. A care guide will be provided and is available on our website; it is your responsibility to be sure this guide is followed. This guarantee does not apply if is determined the hydroseed application was not properly watered and cared for. This guarantee does not apply to seeds supplied by anyone other than American Prime Hydroseed LLC.
